We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health service as a Public Health Service Support Assistant.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Public Health team as a Public Health Service Support Assistant, to help deliver customer service to a high standard.
The post holder will be passionate about helping other and deliver the service through the ‘Making every contact count’ model and using the ‘no wrong door’ approach. You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for the service, so self and organisational (MBC) representation is important. We are looking for a passionate person who is willing to learn in the job by working front facing assisting customers and services user needs, as well as completing various administration tasks. By being in this role, you develop your knowledge in customer service, Public Health, and the local authority, whilst helping the residents of Middlesbrough.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent collaborative working, be a creative thinker and have a passion for the local community, delivering services to a high quality. You will be part of a strong and passionate multi-disciplinary public health team who have the aim of improving health and well-being and reducing health inequalities for our local populations. The post holder’s workplace will be predominantly based in the central Live Well Centre in the town of Middlesbrough but may also be required to work at other centres within the different localities of Middlesbrough.
Training will be provided where necessary and excellent progression routes are available. As this role is front facing, blended working conditions do not apply. Evenings and weekends will be required on a rota basis.
