Research Administrator – Strand, London, WC2R 2LS
About Us
The TOUR (Transforming cancer OUtcomes through Research) team brings together clinicians, epidemiologists, data scientists, and research professionals dedicated to improving cancer outcomes through high‑quality translational research. A central pillar of TOUR is its Real‑World Evidence (RWE) team, led by Professor Mieke Van Hemelrijck and Dr Anne Rigg, which focuses on generating clinically relevant insights from large‑scale health data to support better decision‑making in oncology.
The RWE team works across a diverse portfolio of projects that leverage electronic health records, registry data, biobanks, and linked routine datasets to understand patterns of care, evaluate patient outcomes, and identify opportunities to improve services for people living with and beyond cancer. This work is inherently collaborative, involving close partnerships with clinicians, NHS Trusts, national and international research groups, and multidisciplinary teams across King’s.
As part of TOUR, the RWE team contributes to cutting‑edge research on cancer epidemiology, health outcomes, survivorship, and treatment optimisation. The successful candidate will join this dynamic group and play a key role in supporting data‑enabled research projects that directly inform and enhance cancer care.
