This is the job
As our Safety Camera Analyst, you will play an important role in the Health and Safety team by reviewing footage from the safety cameras fitted to AA service vehicles, to ensure we are operating safely. The Safety Cameras are fitted to our vehicles to enhance safety for our members, employees, customers and pedestrians and third parties, assessing employee competency and improving safety related training.
What will I be doing?
- Identifying appropriate footage based on pre-defined criteria using the operations deployment system
- Accessing the system to review and assess the individuals’ competency
- Communicating with the individuals line manager and co-ordinating corrective action
- Recording and administrating successful competency observations and any corrective actions required
- Tracking and following up on corrective actions with line managers
- Administering safety camera footage requests for safety investigations/ legal claims/ data requests
- Liaising with the contracted service provider to rectify any system issues
- Undertaking general administrative duties on behalf of the Health, Safety and Environment team
- You will need to undertake relevant training in the operating procedures in relation to safety cameras, systems, competency requirements and associated requirements
What do I need?
- Ability to work independently, using initiative to solve problems and make informed decisions with minimal supervision
- Confidence to push back and challenge decisions or requests that do not align with company policy or best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships across teams
- High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in relevant software and digital tools to support daily tasks
- Effective stakeholder management skills to engage, influence, and collaborate with internal and external partners
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
