Job Title: Sales & Operations Planner

Location: UK – Home Based – With Occasional Travel

Contract & Hours – 12 Month Maternity Leave Contract – 37.5 hours per week

Package includes a starting salary from £35,000, plus a benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and reward your impact and a matched pension contribution of up to 10%.

AB Agri is seeking a skilled and analytical S&OP Lead to join our dairy business. This is a pivotal role where you’ll manage the Sales and Operations Planning process, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and supply capabilities to support profitable growth.

This position allows for remote work with some travel, giving you the freedom to structure your own responsibilities while contributing meaningfully to the organisation without direct management duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage accurate demand and supply forecasting plans.
  • Collaborate with sellers, procurement teams, and suppliers to align forecasts and secure capacity.
  • Lead S&OP processes to optimise product mix and confirm load slots.
  • Analyse complex data using Excel and Power BI to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Present insights to senior leadership and support ad-hoc projects

What We’re Looking For

  • Solid background in S&OP, demand planning, or supply chain management
  • Advanced Excel skills: Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Calm, resilient, and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
