SALARY: Starting from £42,692.80 pa dependent on experience
LOCATION: Milton Keynes
HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.
HOURS / CONTRACT TYPE: Full Time Fixed Term Contract until December 2027, 35 hours per week

We’re looking for a Supplier Performance Manager to oversee the performance, compliance, and governance of our key supplier partnerships, ensuring they deliver against contractual obligations and support positive customer outcomes.
This high-impact role will be instrumental in driving supplier performance, managing risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and commercial value across our supplier network.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing supplier performance against SLAs, KPIs, contractual obligations, compliance requirements, quality standards, and budgets.
- Building strong relationships with strategic suppliers to drive performance, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Identifying, managing, and mitigating supplier risks through regular reviews, audits, due diligence activities, and site visits.
- Leading supplier improvement plans to address performance or compliance issues and prevent recurrence.
- Ensuring supplier contracts and services meet regulatory, legal, and business requirements.
- Acting as the key point of contact between suppliers and internal stakeholders, escalating and resolving risks and issues where required.
- Driving innovation and service enhancements that improve customer experience, operational effectiveness, and commercial outcomes.
- Using data, root cause analysis, and supplier insights to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased service performance.
- Monitoring supplier spend and governance to ensure compliance with procurement and approval requirements.
- Conducting market research and supplier benchmarking to ensure VWFS partners with leading suppliers and maintains competitive, high-quality service offerings.

Essential experience & skills
- Experience managing supplier performance within a financial services or regulated environment (Collections experience is desirable).
- Proven ability to manage service and product-based suppliers against contractual, performance, and compliance requirements.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience delivering positive business and customer outcomes.
- Experience analysing performance data and translating insights into clear recommendations and actions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, including engagement with senior leaders and external suppliers.
- Strong negotiation, dispute resolution, and relationship management capabilities.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and management information.
- CIPS qualification (or working towards) is advantageous.
