A bit about us:

The Palladian Academy Trust is a community of schools, each with its own ethos, that enjoy a mutually enriching partnership. Our Trust includes both church and community academies working closely together, all connected by a shared vision for our pupils: ‘excellent and equitable opportunities so everyone can flourish.’

Churchfields, the Village School is a thriving two site rural Church of England primary school, based at Atworth and Monkton Farleigh villages. Both sites teach in mixed-age classes with an all through primary age range at both bases. Both sites are easily accessible from Bristol and Bath.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team. We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative and highly motivated part-time teaching assistant to join our wonderful school family at the Atworth base.

We are proud to be a diverse workforce where everyone plays a vital role. Working primarily under direction of the Class Teacher and the SENDCo you will support pupils with their planned learning activities and programmes.

This is a rewarding role where you will be supporting young people on their educational journey, inspiring them to break barriers and communicating with parents to establish positive home/school relationships.

We are looking for exceptional individuals that can demonstrate:

  • A dedication to making a difference to young people’s lives and educational journey.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in diverse classroom environments.
  • A commitment to continual learning and growth.
  • The vision and values of Churchfields The Village School and the Palladian Academy Trust.
  • Experience in an educational or similar setting is an advantage but not essential. Palladian Academy Trust are keen to hear from candidates keen for a rewarding and purposeful career change who feel strongly about achieving equitable outcomes for all.

This is a permanent contract, working 6 hours per week, 9.00am to midday, two days across the middle to end of the week. The post is term time only plus one Trust Development Day.
