At M&S Foods, we’re protecting the magic of our Food business and modernising the rest. As a Technical Program Manager within the Food Portfolio of Digital & Technology, you will focus on delivering solutions that inspire change enhancing the technology that underpins the Food Group.

Working within the Supplier & Product and Commercial Trading space and partnering with Product and Engineering. You’ll build trusted relationships and coordinate delivery across multiple teams and external partners, and deliver measurable value aligned to the Food Group strategy.

Your role demands a hands-on approach ensuring programmes and product teams run smoothly, combined with strong partner management and technical delivery understanding. You will champion collaboration, inspire continuous improvement, and contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making.

What you’ll do

  • Own and deliver the infrastructure transformation roadmap across multiple workstreams (network, cloud, store systems, security).
  • Define programme objectives, success metrics, and governance frameworks.
  • Develop coordinated plans, manage dependencies, risks, and budgets.
  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, senior leadership, and business partners.
  • Partner with Engineering Managers and Solution Architects to ensure technical feasibility and quality.

Who you are

  • Proven experience in technical programme management within large-scale infrastructure or cloud transformation.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure (networking, servers, cloud platforms, security).
  • Expertise in governance, risk management, and customer communication.
  • Ability to lead sophisticated dependencies and deliver outcomes in fast paced environments.
  • Excellent leadership, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
