Overview

Technician 

As a full-time Technician with Sound/LX Bias, you would be working as part of Milton Keynes Theatre’s technical team to ensure the safe and efficient get ins and gets outs for all performances and productions. Working alongside the Technical Management and Stage Door teams to ensure that the production teams receive the highest standards of customer care and that their technical needs are met as economically as possible. You would also help ensure the building is presented to the highest standards, and that the building is safe for use by its staff and customers at all times, adhering to policies and Health and Safety procedures to minimize risk of injury and accidents. 

Other key responsibilities would include:

  • Assisting in equipment maintenance and annual testing routines as part of planned preventative maintenance.
  • Leading in the set up and operation of Sound when required.
  • Ensure all ATGE’s HR policies and procedures are met and implemented.
  • Partaking in regular departmental meetings to ensure the team is well informed and motivated and knowledgeable of up-to-date procedures and goals.
  • Initiating projects to aid the future proofing of the venue.
  • Being part of the Fire team and Emergency callout team.
