The Candidate
We are looking for a UK Visas and Immigration Compliance Officer to join our team.
Do you have proven experience supporting international students with visa-related queries and managing immigration compliance?
As the UKVI Compliance Officer, you will work closely with the Head of Immigration Compliance to ensure the University meets all its sponsorship licence obligations. You will also collaborate with colleagues across various support services to ensure that all key compliance requirements and responsibilities are effectively met.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting the management of, and generating the extension of the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).
- Creating accurate reporting in a timely manner.
- Maintaining visa expiry monitoring and right to study checks
- Monitoring and tracking the attendance and engagement of sponsored students
- Providing compliance guidance to both current students and across the university.
The Role
The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of UKVI policies affecting students, with the ability to interpret complex regulatory guidance and apply it accurately in practice.
You will have experience of using the UKVI Sponsor Management System as well as experience in UKVI compliance processes and reporting.
You will possess excellent attention to detail, ensuring accurate record keeping and timely compliance actions.
The role requires effective communication and stakeholder collaboration skills, with the ability to provide clear compliance guidance to students and teams across the university.
