About the role
Are you determined and passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable young people? Do have an ability to engage hard to reach vulnerable young people and inspire them to achieve a positive outcome? Do you have the skills and experience to engage and build timely positive trusting relationships with young people and families to inspire them to make positive changes and improve life outcomes?
Northamptonshire Children’s Trust Young People’s Service offers support to young people and their families with identified complex support needs and offers targeted support to address risks outside the family home, in addition offering support to young people who have had missing episodes through statutory guidance.
We welcome interest from both new applications and those who applied previously as long as the gap between applications is more than 3 months.
Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract

About you
You are an enthusiastic, self-motivated team player with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
You’re able to work flexibly with families and advocate on behalf of children, young people and vulnerable adults
You hold a Level 3 qualification in working with children, young people vulnerable adults and their families or have substantial professional experience in this area
You have experience of direct work with families with multiple problems and with families who find it difficult to engage with services.
