•Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the retail kitchen, including food preparation, production, and presentation.
•Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and update menus that align with customer preferences, seasonal availability, and company standards.
•Supervise and provide guidance to the kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, ensuring their adherence to recipes, portion control, and food safety guidelines.
•Train and mentor new kitchen team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
•Maintain inventory levels and conduct regular stock assessments to ensure the availability of necessary ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
•Monitor and control food costs, wastage, and kitchen expenses, implementing strategies for cost reduction without compromising quality.
•Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as sanitation standards, throughout the kitchen area.
•Uphold exceptional food quality by conducting regular quality checks and participating in taste-testing sessions.

•Actively participate in the development and implementation of new recipes, menu items, and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and attract new business.
•Stay updated on industry trends, culinary techniques, and emerging ingredients to continually enhance the retail kitchen's offerings.
•Assist in administrative tasks, such as scheduling, budgeting, and reporting, as required.
