The Opportunity…

At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.

We are looking for an Employee Relations (ER) Partner to join the HPC project, and play a pivotal role in further developing the expertise and talent within the UK that is vital for both our Hinkley Point C Project and more widely across the EDF Group of companies.

As an ER Partner, you are an integral part of the HR Business Partnering team and wider Employee Relations community, ensuring that employees and managers receive expert and timely advice from first point of contact by providing informal case support through to dismissals and appeals.

You will provide pragmatic advice to managers, discussing options, risks, and resolutions to deliver and meet business need whilst also ensuring the people experience is considered throughout the lifecycle of each case. You will ensure that the advice provided is legally compliant and in line with our employee policies by working with the HR Business Partners and wider Employee Relations community to understand best practice and ensure the information you are providing is correct.

Pay, benefits and culture…

This role would suit either an experienced ER partner, or someone looking for a development opportunity, and the salary of £36,000 – £52,000 (negotiable depending on experience) reflects this. Alongside salary, we are delighted to offer a variety of flexible benefits to support our people in their everyday lives.

At EDF, everyone’s welcome. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse environment where everyone has a voice and where you feel confident being yourself.  We’re committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion.  We’d like our future workforce to have an equal gender balance, represent a broad mix of people from minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, those with a disability and supporting social mobility.

We’re committed to flexibility, so if you are looking for part-time hours or a job share, please highlight this on your application.

We’re a disability confident employer and we’ll do all we can to help with your application, making adjustments as you need.

We’ll value the difference you bring and offer opportunities for you to thrive and succeed.
