35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.00. Flexible and hybrid working working arrangements with a minimum expectation of one day per week at Head Office, dependent on business requirements.

You’ll be joining the small but mighty People Strategy and Organisational Development team along with2 more Senior Leads and 4 specialists.  Our work is influenced and informed by a deep understanding of our culture and is all aligned to, and in service of, our corporate business plans – so everyone in the business is an internal customer of ours.  We work closely to deliver a shared plan with all teams across the People Function including Personal Development, People Services, Internal Comms, Diversity & Inclusion, Reward and our People Partners. Our core role is to help the business help itself by delivering work and insight to help individuals -and therefore the business – to flourish.

What Will You Be Doing?

We cover all topics across the OD spectrum so you could be working on any of the below or something different depending on the business needs.  Typically, an OD Lead role will be accountable for three core pieces of work:

  • Strategic Skills planning including job families and architecture
  • Management fundamentals, identification, learning pathways and delivery/ assessment
  • Leadership activation – bringing leadership development and learning to life
  • Potential and Succession plan roll out across the full organisation
  • Colleague listening – bringing colleague voice to the plan & leaders, including culture measurement feedback ensuring diversity & inclusion is embedded
  • Implementing ‘Agile’ ways of working for change delivery and beyond
  • Partnering with leaders on strategic projects needing developmental change
  • Contributing expertise to create great employee experiences in Workday

What Do We Need From You?

  • A good understanding of organisational culture and experience of working with culture change
  • Experience in at least two of the above specialisms
  • Proven experience of delivering individual and commercial impact through owning and delivering change activity
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
