We are now looking for a Reinsurance Broker to join our Facultative Reinsurance team in Oslo. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing our offering in a specialized and globally connected segment. In this role, previous experience within Marine & Energy would be advantageous, but the role is not limited to this segment.

About the role

As a Reinsurance Broker, you will support the placement and execution of facultative reinsurance solutions across a range of client needs.

You will work closely with clients, insurers, and reinsurers across international markets, contributing to the continued growth of our Nordic reinsurance business.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the placement of facultative reinsurance solutions across relevant lines of business
  • Assist in structuring and negotiating reinsurance solutions for client exposures
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with clients and reinsurers
  • Advise clients on reinsurance strategy, market developments, and placement considerations
  • Drive renewal processes and support new business opportunities
  • Prepare and present high-quality client materials and placement strategies
  • Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g. actuarial, analytics, claims)
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a strong team environment

Your profile

We are looking for a commercially driven and relationship-oriented professional with strong broking experience.

  • Several years of experience in Re / Insurance broking
  • Experience within Marine and/or Energy is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and transactions
  • Solid understanding of insurance and reinsurance markets
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of an international team
  • Fluent in English and Norweigan
