About the role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Teacher who has the knowledge and ability to carry out a leading and coordinating role in relation to managing the cases of children with complex needs, who present with behaviours that may challenge.

Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Enhanced Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service. About you

You will have a thorough understanding of the factors that promote successful inclusion and be passionate about supporting settings to implement appropriate strategies which help to improve children’s attendance, engagement, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and learning.

 

You will have thorough knowledge and understanding of exclusion, including the legal processes and the SEND Code of Practice (2015).

You will be a qualified teacher with experience of supporting children with SEND, in particular SEMH needs. You will have a broad range of relevant experience and a strong CPD record. You will need to have extensive knowledge and experience of working with primary schools. You will be able to work both independently and jointly with other professionals and have the confidence and knowledge to deliver training and advice to settings. The ability to work autonomously to prioritise work and meet deadlines are key.
